In 2018, they added a third "paraje" bottling, the 2018 La Mira, which is from three small plots in the zone of El Galayo, where the soils are rich in slate and the altitude is about 900 meters. The grapes were handpicked the third week of September, and they used 15% full clusters for the fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats. The élevage of this cuvée was in a two 3,000-liter Slovenian oak vat and lasted 14 months. This is super aromatic and expressive, with great finesse, notes of yellow flowers and tangerine peel, really showy. This is the gentler of the slate wines: it has a finer texture, smoother tannins and really focused, clean and precise flavors, with great length. It's a really complete and harmonious wine. This is delicious, and it's impressive that this is only the first vintage of this wine, because in 2017 they lost the grapes to hail. Bravo!
