The 2017 Espumante Vinha Pan is a no-dosage Baga, a Blanc de Noir that comes in at 12.1% alcohol. This was disgorged on November 18, 2020, after 22 months on the lees. (The disgorgement date is not on the label, but this is a unique disgorgement.) Showing some of Baga's earthy character, this also has its fine acidity and a big, tense finish. Crisp, complex and nervy, this is a beauty that also does not lack for concentration in mouthfeel. There's a slight oxidative nuance but not a strong one. Overall, this should easily drink well for the rest of the decade, more or less. Pato's sparklers tend to age well
